I wanted to write and thank you sincerely for your help and to let you know how relieved and impressed I was with the level of care given to my Mum by Letty. It was truly heartwarming to see how content and happy Mum was in Letty’s presence. If you know Mum as well as we do, you would completely understand that if she were unhappy, she would not hesitate to tell you the absolute truth! It was clear that they developed a special bond, and I greatly appreciated Letty’s clear and informative discussions with me about Mum’s condition and how best to interact with her now.
I had been extremely anxious about how Mum would cope with a full-time carer, and I could not have been more at ease than when I saw how well and relaxed she looked back at home. I had witnessed how thin, unhappy, and unresponsive Mum had become while she was in the care home and was delighted to see that her appetite had returned and she was eating well again.
I sincerely thank you again for your services, especially for placing Letty with Mum - she has made the distance I am from Mum much easier to bear knowing the high standard of care that Letty provides and how she has encourage and enabled Mum to engage more in conversation again. I did thank Letty personally before my return to Canada, but I would appreciate it if you could pass on our thanks again and acknowledge her hard work and dedication.
